Why is it that people with obviously new and fast cars piddle along below the speed limit but not so slow as to be able to get past safely without exceeding said limit? There is no reasonable excuse for why a Jimny should be able to accelerate with an audi a5 on an open A road when leaving a speed restricted zone, none at all. Get out of the way you deluded knob jockey, some of us want to get to our destinations before we die of old age. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

that's because i am.
thing is though i would not mind so much but a jimny takes a good 13 to 14 seconds to get to 60 which whilst quite reasonable for a proper brick shaped live axled 4x4 in the real world it is actually about a week compared to most modern mid sized and sporty cars on the road so why the blazes do i have to back off for some chump who does not get what the pedal on the right does? i could understand if i drove a macan turbo then most things would be slow but i don't and wasting my life behind some halfwit doing 50 in an nsl annoys me. i do understand that speed restrictions are a limit and not a target and i only use speed appropriately to the road and weather conditions but if i can manage it why is it evidently so difficult for so many others? I quite agree.
Tonight I was frustrated by some plonker sitting in the middle lane at just under 60 and had to wait while cars streamed by on both outside and near side lanes. They should be fined for lane hogging. |

Lambert - Tis' the time of year..
I've noticed a lot of stupidity too just the last few weeks, sun comes out and so do the lunatics. It aggravates me those that intentionally overtake incessantly and pull out in front of Defenders too. Assuming they are slow then get panicky when your on them nearly. If only people respected one another, treated one another equally we wouldn't have this stupidity. Sadly, that will never happen in a world where one is literally trying to climb over the other. |

Lambert - I didn't aim that at you by the way, I was meaning those that overtake for sake of it when the see a a Defender even doing the correct speed limit.
Some of them want to go 75 on a 60 limit what ever you do. BM52 - Yeah, seen that before too. |
