What connectors are these? TD5 CSW 2000
Hi, taking my 110 apart to refurb and wondered what these connectors are in the rear corners? I'm under the impression that the rear drivers side purple cable is a 12v live and can be used for a 12V plug or rear work light. Whats the drivers side orange and passengers side blue connector. I have added some as yet unconnected LR speakers in the rear corners in Puma cut down speaker panels having gotten rid of the old metal corners.

Thanks for info

Just a guess, is one a reverse light and one a fog light? 1999 Defender TD5 110

The wire colours tell you what each cable does, rather than the connector colour.

The purple wire with the single connector is a permanent 12V supply. Commonly used for a 12V socket in the back.

The orange and blue connectors look like mirrors of the ones which are connected on the other side - do the wire colours match?  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Thanks. I guessed the purple and will use this for a 12v socket in the rear which will be very useful. I'll check the wire colours. Will that mean I could have twin reverse and fogs on the back?! I've seen others do it.

Why are there mirrored sockets. Assume perhaps for LHD and RHD vehicles?
