^^ details? You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Bought from these chaps...
https://www.facebook.com/truckfixclutches I opted for the ceramic version due to towing and remap. Trade-off is its not meant to be as progressive as their other offering. I'm a few weeks from having the car on the road but will report back with findings. |

Fitted a Skytag tracker. Rather a lightweight effort compared to, say, 'replaced the clutch' (got to start somewhere I suppose).

I've noticed recently a bit of a knock going over speed bumps. On investigation, found a bit of movement in the top bushes on the rear shocks.
I should have thought when I was getting the bushes and got new nuts, so had to go and try to source some M12x1.25 nuts for the bottom of the shock. Top nuts are standard M12x1.75. Jon. Defender 90 TD5 CSW - The longer I own it, the newer it gets!! |

had the 2 yr service and had a Jag for the day. The Jag was brand new with lots of whizzy lights and stuff but felt small and cramped and soooo low.

received and fitted within about 2 mins my Bolt on bits TD5 style clear side repeates with Tdi specific moudlings. Coming into the 21st Century sloely but surely.
30 seconds each as plug and play into the bulb holders of the original. Lovely job. TY&GN 10 years in a WOLF, WIMIK and Snatch and this is all I have to show! |
