Questions about auxiliary wiring from the battery box
Hello,
I'm on the verge of installing an auxiliary wiring onto my Defender 90 (MY2015) to feed some accessories in the back. So, I would have a few questions
A) Since I don't want to drill any hole, my intention is to run the cables through one of the holes already in place on the top of the seatbox, just under the left hand seat (the one with a hard cap - number 1 on my picture)
So, I would like to swap it for as a rubber grommet and I'm wondering which LR part reference to order (like the number 2)
B) I have bought this :

Which kind of spacer should I use to make sure the electrical contact is and stays perfect ?
C) I think I will attach the lead loom directly to the battery ... but, just in case, would you recommend another good earthing point, preferably near the battery box (without drilling) ?
Many thanks in advance !
Cheers,
Fabien
PS. I am curious about the thin and soft cap (number 3). Is it supposed to tear off in case of overpressure due to a battery problem ?
