How sad am i!
Got the Nilfisk, set it up and started to play. so far cleaned 3 vehicled and it seems great so far. Also cleaned out 2 blocked gutters and down pipes. i am now wandering around the house trying to find things to blast! The terrace will have to wait until it is a bit warmer. I didn't realise that you could'nt use them on mains water without a "back flow adapter". Thankfully i have about 1000 ltrs in rain water butts which are regularly used for the LRs and sometimes plants ![]() |

Bm - similar here, especially since getting the snow foam lance! Does an amazing job even on my fiddly BM alloys! Brilliant for the Landy too.
Wouldn't worry too much about the back flow thing. Loss use them without one. The manufacturers are just being ultra cautious. Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion. |

is the lance a direct fit on to the Nilfisk or did you need a converter conection of some sort? BM52 |

BM - sorry about the lack of any links! I was typing on my phone last night - links are a bit tricky to copy and paste.
Go here: http://shop.autobritedirect.co.uk/index.asp?function=search and search for "snow foam" I went for the standard lance and foam fluid. Two bits of advice - the "head" is absolutely brilliant quality but the bottle is a little bit low rent. And they use DPD for deliveries; who are pants in my area (they can never find my house). But it's next day (and free) delivery if all goes well. Call me sad but snow foaming your car is actually rather fun! Did you go for the E140? I have noticed they've gone back up £35 in Argos (to £210ish) where I got mine! Almost covers the £45 four year warranty I paid extra for! Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion. |
