what is this code????
Hi All

What a start to the new year, my 59 plate 90 went into limp mode this morning just 5mins from home, called landrover assistance, no landrover tecs working so they sent the AA. The guy put a fault reader on the 90 and the code was p1169, does anyone know what this means???

thanks
Yanto

Fuel Rail Sensor In-Range High Failure:

# High Fuel Pressure.
# Low fuel pressure.
# Damaged FRP sensor.
# Excessive resistance in the circuit.

this is from google Smile

no , I did that , and they said : if you waited , its landroverīs responsibility to give you a replacement car , if you bring it to the dealer , you dont get one...

I would let LR Asst. take it in if they are on their way.

Nothing worse than cancelling them and then breaking down on the way to the dealers.

I had this exact fault a few months ago and the dealer replaced the fuel rail under warranty Thumbs Up Annoying thing was they had to order the part in as it happened on a Sunday and the part didn't arrive till Tuesday. As the wife also has a car did not bother with the courtesy car, less hassle.
