United Kingdom 2013 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 SW Keswick Green
Scratched hands to high-heaven rummaging to find the tweeter leads and once found, fitted some recently purchased take off OEM tweeters followed by the install of a Kenwood KSC-SW11 Active Sub.

What a difference Very Happy Having installed a head unit and footwell speakers just over a year ago, I have become accustomed to the rather distorted/muffled sounds from the stereo. This is fantastic and long over due! Phil

United Kingdom 1998 Defender 110 300 Tdi SW Bronze Green
Over the last few days...

I had a bit of a clear out of the garage - okay I moved some stuff around and put it all back in a different order - and I found a box of Dinitrol 3125 and 4921 in aerosol cans. I can't even remember when I got them...

I'd treated my Gracie, a 2015 110 XS CSW, with Dynax UC50 within a few days of getting her. Well there's no point in Dinitrol being in the garage and not used, so 10 of the 12 tins have now been applied to where they belong. The aerosols make it really easy - no real mess - and very satisfying Thumbs Up

And just in time for some salt-covered roads too, if the Met Office are to be believed.

I also lost some blood and skin fitting a Safari Snorkel and Nugget sealed air intake system at the weekend. The sealant supplied with the Nugget kit is Smurf blue - and it looks like I'd massacred one or two during the fitting.

The Nugget kit is very well recommended for all those wanting their raised air intakes to be properly water-sealed too. It's a bit of a faff to fit because the existing air intake pipework needs to be removed and it has to be cut into a couple of pieces to get it out. I finally realised a large, sharp, breadknife was just the job. It's now back in the kitchen draw, with tinges of Smurf blue on it... Rolling with laughter Dave

Replaced the rusty headlight surrounds with new Stainless ones from Mobile Centre. They look much better than the old rusty ones. 1999 Defender TD5 110

Hello from Aus.
Just noticed your 110's name, .."Gracie", which is the name we gave to our 90 when we took delivery of her a couple of years ago!

Pickles - yeah, sometimes the name just 'fits'. Our previous Defender was black and the new one is (Corris) Grey, so 'Gracie' just seemed to work.

Back on subject today I cleaned off a few stray bits of Dinitrol off the paintwork with WD40 and then gave her a good wash and wax. I must admit it was so cold I hooked the hosepipe up to the hot tap. Bliss... Dave

Got the 110 out, not been used since last October. Ran the block heater, and treated the leather .. Little run around and put away again. I tried out my new star tech wheel, nice!
