Yes it does, in the relay/fuse housing under the column. The easiest way to disable the dimdip is to unplug the connector for the series resistor, located under the offside wing top near the aerial. All you need do is unplug the connector.

Thanks for the reply. On my LHD Puma this relay doesn't exist under the steering column. The big pink one is the wiper relay.I've hunted all possible alternatives.
Click image to enlarge Is the resistor easy to locate? I hunted all around both wings and around where the arial is. This is starting to get annoying 2009 Puma 110 SW |

Aha, left hooker, missed that! Pretty sure you won't have dim dip, since it was conceived by idiot British bureaucrats and inflicted only on us.
You presumably know if you had it before you changed the loom and lights. |

If it's only happened since fitting the harness that's where I'd be looking. Check for an earth wire not being connect that is for the full beam relay. Also check if there is a separate power supply of the same relay, maybe it's not connected or has a blown/missing fuse. A later thought... Is the blue light on the instrument panel lighting up? This should be working if the headlamp switch is good. Cheers, Kyle. |

This may seem like a stupid question but ... Have you checked the high beam fuses ? These are easily blown when fitting things to the headlights if the ignition is left on. They are each fused individually left and right

Yeah the full beam blue light glows on the dash and the indicator stalk switch gear is new. Hence why I'm fitting the new loom as I kept melting them. I will check the relays again in the loom to be sure. Thanks 2009 Puma 110 SW |

FIXED!!!
Thank the lord. Rechecked all the connections in the relay holders and after a bit of tugging of everything the +ve crossover between the two relays slid out with a broken crimp on the end. Thanks for your inputs. 2009 Puma 110 SW |
