What's involved with removing this? I know the gear stick is just clips. Andy

No it's not. Mine came as a complete assembly and you have to change either the attaching box and the linkage as a complete assembly or just the linkage alone can be popped off and left but the box goes with the lever regardless. Tunnel cover off for access but not too difficult, maybe an hour to an hour and a half?

Thank guys,
I have the adventurer ones to fit, the gear stick is the same, but the transfer knob appear to be only the knob and not the assembly, question is now, can you remove the standard knob with having to cut it? its just bonded on a assume.
