Hi all,
I'm have a challenge registering the Adventure 110. The dealer insists that I need a insurance policy to register the vehicle. When I call up the insurance company they cannot find the Defender Adventure as part of the Land Rover vehicle and since it is not registered as yet, typing in the registration number does not return anything from the DVLA. May I know which insurance companies Adventure owners on this forum have used to register their vehicles please? Thanks! |

I faced the same issue. Directline acknowledged they did not have the exact model but tried to assure me it would be fine. I ended up with LR's own insurance for peace of mind as they eventually matched other quotes.

Most dealers offer 7 day free insurance so you could register it using that and then you will have time to search around the Land Rover insurance specialists to get a sensible quote. 2015 Defender 90XS HT

Picked up the Adventure 110 yesterday and drove it 140miles home. It is beautiful, none of the pictures I have taken or ones on the web do it justice.
So grateful I finally got to scratch a 30 year itch Questions: 1) Anyone gone with the privacy windows for the rear? Of the options light smoke-stone, factory tint and limousine, I was told factory tint is the best as you don't notice much of a difference inside looking out. 2) Anyone gone with GardX or Diamondbrite (yes... I know its a Defender), thoughts? 3) Has anyone done the Waxoyl/Dinatrol treatment yet? 4) Anyone taken the complimentary experience? Appreciate your thoughts on the circuits in 7 venues, I am fine with regards to distance. 5) Is anyone aware of a Defender Adventure club in the UK? Can't help looking out the window Thanks and enjoy! |

Up-graded mine straight away to front LED side and indicators, did them Christmas Day, they look so much better. Don't understand why LR didn't fit them as standard,
