Heritage value? Possibly selling.
Hello everyone,

I'm possibly selling my 110 SW Heritage and I'm wondering how much I could sell it for. I've no experience in selling cars, much more a Land Rover run-out Defender.

1200 miles
Alive re-map
Nakatenenga wheel carrier
Slick shift
Alpine single DIN stereo with Bazooka sub under front passenger seat
Reversing sensors
Rock and Tree sliders

Thank you for any advice

Cheers

Marc

From the how many left website it looks like there only just over 100 of the 110 Heritage, so more exclusive than the 90 Whistle

After extensive research I have found the the price, and could go as far and say its worth about £2.50, so I”ll be kind hearted and take it off your hands for £5.00 ... where shall I send the money ..??

Thank you for the advice and the light-hearted comments Smile

Yeah I was told that there are fewer 110 SW compared to the other Heritage variants.

I'll hold onto it for now... a colleague at work offered £45K but I wasn't tempted.

Hello again and Happy New Year!

Just about to spend £900 for the 24th month service at Hunters LR, plus road tax and insurance, and it seemed impractical to me spending for a truck that is warm in safe indoor storage. So I may sell this in a few weeks time.
For lack of selling experience on my part, what is the best and safest way of selling a Defender with regard to not being scammed, avoiding test pilots (I'm guessing potential buyers already know how a Defender drives), and how to politely refuse test drives? Am I better off selling to a Land Rover specialist dealer? Any advice welcome and appreciated.

Thanks again

Marc

If the vehicle isn’t taxed that’s the excuse for no test drives, however it’s not the fact a potential buyer might know how a defender drives, a test drive can reveal a lot about a car and what condition it is in. I would not buy a car for that sort of price without wanting a test drive or even a ride so I can make sure everything operates as it should. 90 wolf - Jasmin http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39408.html

Thank you for that very valid point. I was thinking too much of mitigating risks and not enough on attracting potential buyers. Yes, it's not taxed and insured at the moment, that may change depending on what interest it generates, buyers-wise.
Thanks again.
