My 7 seats all have exactly the same half leather half SVX fabric which you mention there.
Can't find pictures right now, and truck is in hiding from the current rainy weather here. But looking at your above pictures, I am not sure it is exactly the very same fabric you show there, as the SVX fabric has a pattern of repeating small Land Rover logos woven all over the fabric. Don't really see those in your above pictures. Eric You never actually own a Defender. Very very nice, but would not work for me for two reasons.... 1. I would not be able to enter my underground office parking as official allowed height is 2.00m, and with my standard 2.03m it just works, and 2. my local car wash street would have trouble with those Speakers on the roof.
But, a lovely truck. Eric You never actually own a Defender. Cheers guys,
My inspiration.....I was in a twisted 110 a few years ago which was built to go on a proper road trip... Had all the kit but was more than ready for a spot of bother, loved it... It was over 80k though! Nothing beats the UPS guy dropping off a heavy box and you are quickly out to the garage to get stuck in! I am pretty much there on the outside...just need a good reliable light to attach to the mounting point on the rear of the rack, i was thinking of the little laser lamp... .. then the urban truck black side steps...(if anyone wants my XS ones at a good price let me know), inside I will continue to try a few different ideas... Today's job for me and the young lad is to fit the Mantec RAI, went for the classic as I prefer this design. Quite hard to track one down in stock.

Your front lighting set up is pretty damn close to what I want. Looks fantastic! The main difference for me is to have a load of rear worklight and some side lighting.

Andy, Here is a picture of the original SVX Recaro seat without the cover. Second and third row seats leather/fabric are identical. You see the small repeating Land Rover logo which I mentioned earlier woven into the fabric. So different cloth than the one in the pictures posted by yourself. I also understand that the original Recaro seats are slightly narrower than any of the after market Recaros you can buy, how close the model may be. This was done on request of Land Rover for the original Land Rover SVX Recaros in order to avoid any touching with the inside of the B-post. Something I have read people who bought Recaros other than the original ones from Land Rover themselves have been struggling with. Mine obviously don't touch. Eric You never actually own a Defender. Cheers Eric,
Yup they are the same as the top picture I posted, just a rubbish pic, I sold that set to bpman on here , I am ordering a pair from Dan which are the accessory recaro which has the XS style fabric centres. Fitted my Mantec RAI today... Nothing to difficult, bit of a fiddle, treated the holes and added some foam spacing, good fit all round.. Looking good
Does the windscreen frame bracket look like it could be bonded on? I'm very hesitant to drill any holes in my new 110! Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

Cheers David,
I was feeling the exact same way, I guess you could try to bond it on but I am not sure if it would hold long term, if it came off when driving the top section could fall off completely... Not a problem if you have the solid one piece plastic Jobby though. I plan to keep this 110 long long term but I will always keep an eye on the fixings and keep some ACF-50 around them.
