On Brendan's recommendation I had a chat with Kevin at Nene (very helpful). Long and the short - 3 is best.
Just want to note my thanks to Brendan - very knowledgable, patient and helpful.....cheers Brendan Looking forward to our slightly dodgy rendezvous outside Leeds station early next week (if anyone sees to blokes exchanging boxes and cash outside leeds station...just remember, you ent sin me ) |

definitely 3. it's not just the weight of you when youre in it, but its also the stick the roof gets when youre offroad, especially corrugation. your middle bar doesnt need to attached to the tent but it helps the vehcile and the tent if its in there.

The advice for my roof tent was ok with 2 bars for most things including moderate greenlaning anything more strenuous, 3 bars are required.
we ran 2 for a while. Mike |

Cheers Alex. Tent is spot on. Am now in a quandary as to the best mounting solution. Hope the hunt for that Camper goes to plan. Steve |
