I would love to know why and who in JLR marketing decided not to fit a radio in the UK Heritage??
Surely it cannot be 'cost'? The only reason I can think of is that is more '1948 original' with no radio ... YOLO... You Only Live Once... |

Arrogance, despite the language coming out of Solihull, the defender has no place in Land Rover future. The heritage is a great defender, not perfect, but something special all the same. It should have had a radio, it's cheap not to supply one. But I would have swapped it out anyway. It's just a shame that the uk heritage just didn't hit the mark. But look at the other thread, they are selling for a premium, and I suspect will continue to do so. On that, you have to say LR got it right.
I still can't wait for mine and I suspect I'll love it. But I also love my 110. After all. We love imperfection. |

Build start date 27/11 should be at dealers today and I've arranged collection for Thursday.
Absolutely no dealer extras on ours, waaaayy too expensive! I'll be doing the bits and bobs myself over the Christmas hols - bilt hamber anti corrosion, seat covers, side runners, towbar and radio to start with. Factory tour monday. Fairly looking forward to next week now. I thought about side steps and tried to find photos with them on, at the time I could not, so I spoke to owners who had them on and they all side they would go for runners if given the choice again as you keep rubbing paint off as you tend to scuff the side of truck when you get in and out. if you look at defenders with them on you will see what they mean and then I saw the photo of heritage for sale with them on and for me I made the right choice to go with xs black runners
