I collected mine from the dealers last Thursday. Have to say it looks fantastic. However, the sound deadening on it is pretty bad compared to my old 2011 XS, I initially thought I left the back door open as there was a lot of noise from the back.
Other then that it is great. Just wondering anyone can recommend any rust proofing company in the west midlands? My old XS was a but rusty at 4 years old underneath, so thought I wanted to do some rust proofing. But the LR dealer said it is not recommended as it could void the warranty, so I need someone who does a good job. Any recommendations? Hi Yes it is from Gordon Lamb. They were expecting it in December but it arrived at the beginning of November.
The sales person said it does not have speakers and no wiring. Looks like he may be right. I unscrewed the front speaker grill and there is nothing in there, no wiring either. Presume its the same with the tweeter grill. In the back there isn't even a grill, just plastic which I presume needed to be cut off to fit a speaker. Thats very nice Jimmy
I think the dealer in Brecon will have some coming up also as I'm sure they have quite a few on order. All the specials over the years have had a few left in showrooms after the panic buying is over. As none of us bought to sell on at a profit it doesn't really matter as long as we get one Still seems silly not to put a stereo in after putting such a nice interior trim in. I would of gladly paid extra, but without wires and speakers I will leave it as is. Can't wait till you get your 90 Chris |

I was initially thinking of leaving it as is without the stereo. But after driving for a few days just listening to the diesel rumbling away, I couldn't bear it any longer. So will probably get some music system sorted out.
Funny my dealer didn't even ask me whether I want to have a stereo installed as an optional extra, although I presume not many land rover dealer can be bothered installing these old tech sound systems anymore, compared to the touch screen systems that they now deal with in other JLR products. |

I`m surprised you wasn`t offered this. It`s must for me, dealer said the can sort before delivery as there is a good ICE centre nearby

Presume dealer doesn't have access to a good ICE center and the volume of requests don't justify the dealer bothering themself, as he just said there are no speakers or wires in the car, so recommend that if I need a system I need to find a professional installer rather than do it myself. Other than that, I think the dealer service is pretty good.

Good that there is a book in the UK. I am from Hong Kong and bought a Heritage 110 Station Wagon. I received no book at all.
