Cheers Roy, yes ive got a plate with a slider plate bolted to so I use my hitch from the rear when I want it. A chap I move his boat trailer for has an american coupling so the slider lets me switch between the 2
Sliders were amazing value at £100 the pair new, dont know how he does them! |

Tom, I love catching up on your Defenders!
So many changes in vehicle and details! Glad to see the s/steel bumper back on a truck, but even that didn't last long! Absolutely love the wheels - very tempted to get a set of those! (Let me know when you inevitably change your mind!) Your impressive work is making me feel guilty about the lack of changes with mine (Still your old 110) but I'm struggling to keep up with the maintenance! (Just had new rear brake discs and calipers - eek!) She did get a good polish over the summer though - need to crack on with her really! 110 XS TD5 |

wouldnt have time to do another Mac sorry, not to bad a project to undertake yourself though, ill be going back to canvass soon.
Cheers Gareth, this ones due a fair bit of maintenance aswell now as not running nicely and needs a new ecu I'd of loved to of kept the stainless bumper on but wasnt thick enough for the tow bracket which bolts the uppers to the bumper. These are definitely the best wheels ive had, ill let you know if I ever sell but have plans for them to go a dark metallic gunmetal grey and be kept for the next defender after Glad your keeping it polished well for when I want it back It was actually more practical than this double cab in most ways needed a gloss black grill and surrounds when I had it but never got around to it! |

Sorry Mac I sold it a while ago to Landy Andy on here after I put an ad up in the for sale section, since then He sold his double cab and sold the back on to a chap on facebook Angry Puma site, its now Satin black though.
I nearly built another but lost out on the roller shutters I was bidding on (I'd of alway liked to have fitter roller shutters in the sides rather than the hatches but the Ex AA smaller type ones are harder to find) |

Very Nice Mac
Got sent a pic of the frame, coming along nicely Click image to enlarge Got a series gutter surround fitted to, much better than the defender one as allows you to get stuff through the rear window |

Sorted a set of melville and moon seat covers at last, was after a set with my last defender and never managed to get replies from the company. Found this full set second hand, little faded but they go like that anyway for the grand total of.... £50!
Should keep my leather seats nice underneath as there an unusual style so would be a nightmare to get copied. Also going to order my series 3/4 canvass tilt for the back in black to go on for the winter, so should look smart. Just got to wait for the frame and then some other work to follow |

Not strictly Series, my 2007 Puma double-cab had this arrangement when it left the factory. I'm not sure when the drive to cut costs caused it to be dropped in favour of the inferior later arrangement, 2010 perhaps? |
