Haha well not much visual now really will change, might make a rear flat canvass cover. Want to source a roof to cut a large webasto type roof into though, then maybe a tune and lowering. No doubt other bits will be exchanged for different things though Its always a worry when I have a disc cutter to hand

Im very pleased with these JE wheels, have a look on the startech land rovers as they use these wheels a lot.
A few arty pics for you had to use my small camera as the ones on my good camera say file to big and fail to upload? Also found out today extreme 4x4 who I was planning on getting a couple of bits from have relocated and are only in the next town. A visit is now planned |

Not much happened really, fitted my stainless bumper as mine had started to peel on the bottom. Thanks Gareth, back on another of my defenders now
Must admit though did try and part ex it against a green td5 90 the other evening and have left my offer there, so you never know. Heres a pic of when it arrived to how its looking now, not to many differences and still have all the bits to put it back if I ever wanted Click image to enlarge |

The double cab will be changing slightly in the next couple of weeks, The A bar and central kbx are coming off (Ive never liked kbx but they went on as the price was right). The light surrounds will stay but ordered a heritage grill in black from Brendan on here.
Stainless bumper will either be wrapped black or ill paint it, the genuine steering guard is coming off as ill never need it and a 3 socket front receiver system is being fitted. Black rock sliders are being collected from Peterborough show for it instead of the steps and sills, the light bars are coming off for smaller round LED spots. Looking into a full external roll cage and changing the wheels to one complete colour aswell, but these are on the to do later list So All in a few changes to be made as ever with me and ill follow up with some pics as its done |

Front end is looking much better thanks to Brendan and Barbara. Just got my front receiver to fit when it arrives and either wrap might wrap the bumper black while I look for a heavy duty one. Then more changes after LRO show

Picked up some my rock sliders from the LRO show Saturday and got them fitted today. Few bits coming from Landy Andy on here and ordered a heavy duty stick set with some custom bits from Colin at Purely Metal who made all my hood stick sets on my soft tops.

Another update, was lucky to get a watling front receiver (well 3 actually!) for a good price and managed to fit it with the new bumper. Had a bit of a drama as a crucial bolt sheered in the chassis while taking the steering guard off to fit.
After a good go with the blow torch and land rover tool number one I managed to whack it out. Front hitch pin will only fit in upside down as have aircon but was expecting that although secretly thought it would fit the proper way. Anyway not the prettiest thing ive ever fitted but will serve a great purpose and be used most weeks so worthwhile in my book grip taped the sliders and bits aswell while I was at it |

Light bars off, looking all a bit more standard for a minute. Haven't had much time to work on it really. It will be getting the cruise control mod and have heated mirrors and an x eng ignition guard to fit along with new front springs.
It needs a new ECU as we found the wrong one has been fitted so will get that, then give it a tune. Have some heavy duty front springs to fit and ideally want some anti roll bars next. Rear frame is also being made. |

Sometimes less is more, rock/tree sliders look good! Will be one of my upgrades next year!
Do you have the towball and insert for the front, I have one laying around from my old 90 if you want it.[/img] |
