Last time it was clutch fluid from the slave cylinder but the level is still full this time.
Any way to tell whether gearbox or engine oil? On the series you could definitely smell between engine and EP90 but not so sure on the new one. Anyway - one month before end of warranty - back she goes again |

I guess engine oil should be darker, diesel smelling and thinner. Puma 110" SW

Has your warranty expired? Are you having to replace a suspected clutch again? |

dealer says crank seal weeping.
Told me they have cleaned it and I should ride for a few weeks and see again (Warranty Expires end month) Told them they were mad - keep the vehicle till the crank seal is replaced - end of conversation. As an aside - I hope the incident where I accidentally ill fitted my air filter and sucked in a fair amount of dust into the motor is not the cause of the seal failure I did change the oil and filters when I noticed my error |

Sometimes twisted cranckshafts break seals. Hope it is not.
I agree. You need nurse hands to fir the upper cover from the air filter (Fordy). Puma 110" SW ............................................................. Earth first. Other planets later |
