As I think it is lying on a well abused workmate, the size and strength let me to believe it is something for the front bumper. But probably I am completely wrong and it will be attached to the rear end. Twisted Evil Roel

NOTHING is too heavy duty on a Defender 😉 My 1986 90 is currently on a full rebuild, with new chassis, Paint etc.. Very much a hybrid, TD5 Chassis, tub & bulkhead with a 200TDI and LT77 GB Painted in Stornoway Grey Smile 2 years off the road, but getting close to completion now

Rallysteve wins the prize Thumbs Up
The prize is hmmmmmmm ? A free cuppa if ya going to Sodburys sort out in e few weeks time ? Very Happy

I agree it's a bit heavy duty , but it's the only thing that will hold the snorkle on ( famous last words ) Ha Ha

Once welded up and some small hoops added on the reverse to run the breather pipe through, it's all being shipped to the powder coaters,

The reason I did it this way was cause I didn't want to drill any holes in a new 90 especially in the windscreen frame

Pics when completed Wink
