Surprised you went to such great lengths when there was an 'uncomplicated' solution. You must have too much time on your hands. Great piece of innovative engineering though.

I did dabble and ask on here about bonding it on, but I just can't accept that bonding will hold it tight, and also if it ever needs to be removed / paint damage

As for water leaks - what's new Rolling with laughter

I'll seal it up as good as and have to see what occurs

Will use another gasket and some sealy stuff on it

As it happens - I did have too much time on my hands Wink

Here it is a bit further forward, finish making it pretty and wait for all the other metal Bits to be shipped off to the powder coaters Thumbs Up
