Does anyone know the size of and type of spanner required for the A frame ball joint nut on a 110?

According to repair my land rover it's a 30mm socket on an extension bar either to ratchet or probably more use, a breaker bar.

30mm socket.
Echo the comments about replacing with a complete fulcrum and OEM quality ball assembly. 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top 2015 D90 XS SW |

Thanks folks,
I bought a set of the Stahlwillie sockets off AAronmorris as 'spares' I cut about 5mm off the end of the 30mm socket, then ground a good chamfer around the drive end, now with a long extension bar I can get a good purchase on the nut, I wanted to make sure the taper itself was seated properly before I went further. I still get an annoying clunk sometimes from the back (all super pro bushes fitted) so new joint soon! Keith |

Hmmm. Bought some sealey crows feet and the 30mm one is a loose fit and doesn't seem suitable?
Will try again in the light probably at the weekend but it isn't looking promising. Is it defo 30mm not some imperial jobbie? |

Not wanting to over do it I've managed to loosen all 3 nuts ()
It would appear an old 3/8th worth spanner is a good fit...all the 30mm stuff I tried was a loose fit? Anyhow it's all loose and ready for a swap over when it's light again. Thanks. |

Done
Bolts don't slide out very easily....if I had to do it again i'd allow an hour. If you know which end of a spanner to use perhaps 30mins? |
