Its at the stealer at the moment having the rear door realigned and the seals changed. I get it back tomorrow and if its still light I'll do pics then, if not will have to be weds.

the pics will be self explanatory, but basically they sit inside the standard spring but are quite a bit stiffer. When there is no load in the back they do absolutely nothing, its only when a load is put in that they start to "work". I had them made by Ali Nasser in zagora, morocco - he does/did a lot of the dakar maintenance and mods for people going through there. top guy. If you want something similar, its a case of just chatting to 4x4 retailers/parts people/garages and coming up with something the right length and stiffness. If you're running with a heavy load (like a long overland trip) they're fantastic offroad - when oure go up steep slopes the load just sits down on both sets of springs and there is no kangaroo effect. I;d recommend them, but not for anyone who wont actually use the second spring if that makes sense?

Cheers Mike i've looked into getting extra springs in the back but its been hard work as my local independent says you can only get them for the 110s.....So i just passed on the thought but knowing some one else has done this has made me think again the reason i'm asking is i tow everyday and could do with a little extra help back there i'm running discovery HDs on the back at the moment but with the weight i carry it could do with the extra spring...Thanks for your reply Thumbs Up NEVER TAKE LIFE SERIOUSLY. No problem. If you can wait I'll be in Zagora in April so could always get some for you if I prep him first. But you might want to have a proper look and a drive of mine first.
