I found that the puma springs really arent that good if you're carrying any kind of load in the back, they compress significantly. Solution for me was to fit an extra set of narrower springs which sit inside the standard springs. for normal driving its absolutely as standard. once there is heavy load it sits down on both sets of springs and there is virtually no compression. you wouldnt need that kind of set up just for towing though.
by the way, if you do anything at all in terms of changing suspension, tell your insurer asap, but explain in writing what its for and why you ve done it, and that the parts used are equivalent or better to OEM, otherwise they may get VERY snotty about it and threaten to cancel your cover. Except NFU, they dont seem to care what you do unless you make engine mods. |

New konis all round improved my 2008 defender 110 a lot ,much less pitching over bumps etc, was worth every cent

Fingers crossed! Ordering the dampers on Monday.
Then will probably get the softer rear springs.
