2009 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 CSW Alpine White
draining fuel filter
Manual says you need special pump to prime the system after replacing fuel filter or even after draining any water from bottom of fuel filter.
Is this true? Thanks
David

Can't say for sure - but in this month's LRO mag in the new products section there is a tool which re-primes the fuel lines - the 'sales' blurb basically says you can't change the filter without using one. However, I wonder if one of the experienced readers has a trick? I think the tool was £90 from memory - but if you have to replace your filter or drain off water in the field then £90 well spent. I'd be keen to understand if anyone has a simple trick to do this.

Yes, just fill with fuel and refit but i half fill it with "Forte" Diesel treatment... i once used a dry filter and it started after 3-4 attempts. 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..
