I wish! I believe the Adventure is circa £43K! |

It's totally scuppered me. The Adventure won't fit into my garage even if I wanted it. Plus £43K for a Defender is slightly crazy imo. I'm popping into the dealer tomorrow to discuss my options - whatever they may be! |

I have just been on the tour this afternoon and 80-90% of the vehicles on the production line were either heritage or adventure models. This does indeed sound very odd.
Hope you manage to get a solution which you are happy with 2002 110 td5 |

Speak to the pr guy on here first - just check the facts from the factory end to make sure the dealers not spinning you a line.

That seems totally wrong to me.
If you have put a deposit down surely they are obliged to supply the vehicle as you have both entered into a contract. Might be worth a quick chat with your solicitor and then a snotty letter from him demanding that they fulfill their side of the contract. I bet they will manage to find you a heritage then..... |

Can you point me in his direction? After speaking to the dealer in the morning my next step was going to be LR customer services. The Adventure would be a very appealing substitute. But it's £15K more expensive and the roof rack etc mean it won't fit in my garage! |

Might work! But it very much takes the shine off the new car buying experience! |
