Don't need traction control - just better tyres than the General Grabbers Shocked

I also don't have ABS nor TC on both my 110 Defenders.

Both have been purchased as 2nd hand vehicles and ABS was not particularily high on my "must have" list Wink.

Don't regret this as it is one thing less that can break down.

ABS for road use, great. ABS offroad - awful and not wanted, certainly not by me.

But apparently you can turn off the ABS and TC with the 10 brake pumps in the first ten seconds of engine start. not tried it yet.

ABS was a big factor is choosing an XS over a County.

Traction seems a bit odd on a Defender but I guess it works when needed?! Totally essential on the Beemer - turn it off in the wet and life becomes rather interesting! Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion.
