I have a Discovery and it is just a shelf for keeping maps and papers....... Something like that is usefull, but the item in the ebay listing does nothing but hold a CB and radio. I have seen what they have in Citreon and a few other French cars and as I mention above, they can house a set of sunglasses and that is about it. Vans are different, like the Discovery they have like draw/ shelf system so that you can keep documents or items you might need access to quickly. Glyn |

Moms citeron thing has heater controls and a lot of space I have a mate with a 300 tdi disco with a slim midland CB in the pocket But i suppose your right the Seat van housed a shelf full of high vis's and maps Mike |

Thinking about it, if the ebay roof console was wider, had a storage area instead of the CB/ Radio slot with some sort of door/ containment device on the front of it I would consider one. I do like the shelf on the discovery but wouldn't pay £300 for the privelage..... more like £50-100.
