Leaking seal
Why can't landrover fit a full length seal between the bulkhead and windscreen mine has roughly a 2 inch piece at each end before a the main bit

It's a joke considering it Censored water in through there
Not even two months old Sad

As far as i know it should be one length, sounds like its made up of bits

does it come on a roll in factory and you've got a bit off the end of roll

Makes me wonder if JLR employ a team of people dedicated to finding ways of annoying the Censored out of loyal customers!

Mine is the same, need tho change it but think it's a massive job. May try to smear a thin layer of clear silicone over it n see if that helps

It's a warranty job. Seal should be one piece.

My TDCI went in for 3 weeks to the body shop and they took the roof off and applied a new seal. 1951 80" S1 2.0

Its maddening mine has a join about 2 inches from one end so its in two pieces...the passenger side is about 6-7mm thick but the other end is about 3-4.....is it true it has to be in one piece ..have you got that from landrover?Who ie the bloke on here who represents landrover perhaps i could get the sp from him!

Yes. Need a couple of mates to hold the pressure on the roof to keep the gap open but after getting retaining brackets off, less than 30 mins on a CSW 1951 80" S1 2.0

If you want to "bodge it" try plumbers gold from ever build. It is like silicone but much stronger and can be applied if the area is not dry. It is brilliant stuff. Go for clear of course. I am not trying to sell this myself ( I can but that's not why I'm posting this reply)

You can pick it up from a few places. 110 Hardtop

After LR dealer repeatedly Censored it up, I changed the foam tape with the help of my sons (65 kg each) to sit on the roof corners whilst re-tightening. I also used butyl tape (previously used as a temporary fix) to make a secondary permanent seal. No leaks since 1 year Thumbs Up Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...
