Germany 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Baltic Blue
It's cheap and easy to fit by an untrained monkey. Okay, it's also durable and allows for significant width deviations and constant vibration without cracking or peeling away (the roof is pretty flimsy). Pity it doesn't seal... Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

FM can you look at this photo from the production line......there is a slit in the foam seal (not full thickness)two inches from the end i wonder if its a design feature?

you may have to save it a blow it up to see better!

It looks much thicker than the replacement seal you quoted.. it is in one piece but im wondering if i am mistaking what is a design feature for broken seal! its interesting that others are complaining of a split two inches from the end of the seal!

I am wondering if its a split seal or is it just the slit you can see in the top production line photo .....can anyone advise as i dont want to look like a pillock at the dealers...they are smug enough without my help!
