Puma ignition live - help
Trying to wire JW Speaker DRL headlights and spent all day trying to get to the ignition live under the instrument binnacle and failed. Also tried to unplug the heater motor fan to get to the ignition live wire there and failed again (needed this off to know which colour wire is the ignition live).

Can anyone help please?

What do yo mean by ignition live? If you mean live when the ignition is on it's the white one on the ignition key switch.
I just put a double spade on it and fed it to a triple fuse fuse box which I then connected things like reverse cameras and dash cams.

Yes live when the ignition is on. I managed to lift the instrument binnacle out of the way and get the white wire off the ignition barrel but could not pull out sufficient length pf white wire to crimp another wire.

Good idea - thanks, but will get fully insulated - just need to get cable through bulkhead somewhere now.

If you have not already done the wiring another ignition only source is the feed for the wiper switch.
I used this wire for my recently fitted cruise control.

To get a wire out the bulkhead consider the existing wire plug close to the clutch master cylinder.
I opened a hole up and threaded a piece of solid wire through to then pull the electrical cable back through to the engine bay.
With the instrument cluster removed it's a fiddly but achievable job. Cheers,
Kyle.

Wire through now. Not going through all that's required to get wire through to the ignition switch again, so going to install a 1 in and 4 out fuse block and take off from that. Like this www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230965752213
