I actually like the sound of them lasting forever so when a friend of mine sold his last set to someone else, I decided to get the solid ones from another friend.
I guess this means I should already be changing them out, huh? |

as said the old style ones did last , but rusted on the edges when used and didn't look as pretty as the later stainless covered ones

Interesting solutions, but I think I can categorize those under "nice to have" rather than "must have." Nice to know they're out there though.

I've actually been mulling it over last night and am thinking that since I already have the solid wheel nuts that I should use them first and while they are on, I should already start saving up of the wrington ones for when the said corrosion appears.

Now you have said it......i removed both front wheels yesterday to fit my new LOF brakes kit
