I just removed one of my rear seats after having worked round the ruddy things doing 2,000 miles around Scotland in the last couple of weeks. What a nuisance the seats are. Removal was easy all Torks with the exeption of two studs that go through the floor. Put all the bolts back in to seal the holes. You'll need to M8 bolts to fill the holes where the studs went. Can't believe the space I now have.Second one is coming out tomorrow!

Thanks chaps. Took one of them out yesterday prior to a run down to Cornwall. No problem coming out and yes, the space it frees up is great. It won't be going back any time soon.

Does anyone know the correct torque(s) for re-fitting the fasteners? (or where to find that info)

I'm looking to do the same with my 2 rear seats.
Is this something you can do on your own or do you need one person on the spanner end in the wheel arch and one person in the cabin? (I'm good, but I can't be inside and outside the car at once! ) 2016 D4 HSE 1998 110 TUM HS FFR Hard Top XD WOLF 1982 Series 3 SWB Petrol |
