[quote="Lorryman100"]@bpman: No need to drop the fuel tank with the Nakatanenga fuel pick up. It fits between the top hoses with an internal pipe that feeds down into the fuel tank
Fitted a similar one to mine with no issues ... didn't fancy droping the tanks and took my time to do the cuts - works really well - just make sure you point the pipe in the right direction  Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Poppy - TDCI (Puma) 110XS 2.2 - Camper conversion - see the build here - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56530.html Elgar -TDCI(Puma) 110XS Dormobile - now sold Devon & Cornwall 4x4 Response - DC126 |

Working in the house I needed some floorboards and a length of 3"x2". The 3x2 came in a 4.8m length - the guy was surprised when I told him to leave it as one piece 😀

It all started in December of last year, I bought a NTO 2014 Puma rear door on eBay, then I found some second row doors, and a set of front doors, then a Puma rear seat. Over a couple months I had everything collected from various places ALL over the UK, packaged up and freighted to Vancouver. First piece went on today. Had the rear door painted, tinted the glass, opened up my bag of stainless Stig hinge bolts and put it all on.
Great feeling of satisfaction to have finally started replacing these doors. Rear swing away carrier and drop hitch are next The other doors will probably wait until next spring, along with tearing off the capping and getting it galvanized, and a full paint renew. Puma rear seats will be this summer though, that will be going right after my YRM order arrives with the rear upstand kit. Got half-way through attaching my new DRLs before I realised that I didn't have all the bits and bobs necessary to finish the job, and had run out of time to get to the shops!!

Was that done by LR before the portal conversion? Interested to know what your dealer has made of the conversion if they have seen it.

It was done before the portal kit was fitted .
I got the repair kit for free from landrover as I couldn't be bothered even trying to get it in under warranty . |
