^^ agreed Eric, but given LR tolerances, things will wear unless you go fully ashcroft / entreq Whistle

I actually mentioned to Olaf when I was at Entreq that I saw these two new items, but he did not seem to see an urgency for me to have this done any time quickly now after he heard that I had LR replacement half shafts already since about a year now. Will have another word about it with him later this week when I will pick up the SVX.
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Why not just get the proven Ashcroft items? I have their shafts and drive members and they are lovely bits of kit.

I have Aschroft too in the rear axle and believe they are a lot cheaper. Looks like Entreq doesn't even touch the front axle while you can get Aschroft for the front too. Roel

+ another 1 for Ashcroft.

ATB diffs F&R, HD halfshafts and flanges F&R, HD CV joints. At last a decent driveline! Thumbs Up

Just the D44 DC front propshaft and Ashcroft TB centre diff left to fit!

I have just ordered two ATB LSD from Ashcrofts so was wondering of those who have fitted these LSD, did you use a LSD gear oil in the diffs?? I was thinking along the lines of Fuchs Titan Race Syn 5 75w-90:

Any thoughts folks??

Bog std stuff in my rear axle. I was under the impression the atb doesn't need any special oils.

Ashcroft Transmissions say use standard oils in the ATB, ie the same as you would in LR diffs.

Do the ATB's have any effect on turning circle?
