Do anti roll bars make much difference to the ride?
As above i currently have a 11 plate defender without anti roll bars on and just wondering if they would be worth fitting? Off road articulation isn't really one of my concerns it does go off road every week around the farm but i don't do anything aggressive with it. How much does having them on change the ride?

My own experience is that If you drive through the bends so to speak - accelerating through the corners, then you won't see the difference from them so much.

When I took them off my old 90 to improve off road articulation the difference was almost solely noticeable when changing direction suddenly or with a neutral throttle - I guess you'd say in those swerving 'Oh ****!' - moments

Your spring rates and shocks will obviously play into this - but for the road I think they make a lot of sense..

I took mine off and the ride is much smoother (both on/off road). For off road it made the biggest difference, less jiggling about and easier to control. On road I don't see as much difference, but the ride is certainly smoother.

If you want flat cornering, then probably they work OK.

The prime purpose of anti roll bars is as per their domicile,..."anti roll".
So fit a good set of properly set up, & suitable, (ARB'S), & ya'll see a marked difference in the behaviour of your Defender when cornering, changing direction etc,...well ya should anyway.
