the trailer is just a narrow track sankey with steel box section on the top and the camping unit is made from the same box section as shown below and clad with sheet and ply roof which in hindsight should have been of the steel variety due to moisture buildup

Can I ask what you used for door seals ChrisLandyman? When I built mine I made the doors out of box section steel clad in aluminium, and the 'doorframe' they close into is also box steel - so I have no return lip in the doorframe to mount a seal (a bit of an oversight when I built it, I should have used L-shaped steel as the doorframe). Can't quite make out how your seals work in the photos, so was wondering if you have a similar set up as me?

I had aluminium angle glued to the steel box to prevent galvanic corrosion and originally had rubber P seal that was stuck to the angle which sealed the doors 1992 Defender 90 200tdi Hardtop (rebuilding)
