Well, it's been a long wait but off to Solihull this afternoon and taking my 110 back to its birth place. Really looking forward to it. Then it's a divert to the Peaks afterwards for a bimble. Craig Rogers

What an amazing day. It was great that you actually get to be pretty much on the production line and not viewing from afar.
Saw both a 90 and 110 in Adventure (Stunning!) and an Autobiography on the line, both of which where destined for Oz! Also saw a nice Blue RR Sport SVR in the snagging area with it's doors off, not sure what remedy work was being done. A few photos from the Celebration area which are not much different to anyone elses. I've heard nothing on my delivery. Encouraging that there's some being built now for export market. UK orders were originally planned for August/September if I recall correctly? |

Silly question but I'm about to send off my booking form for a day at Solihull to spend half day on the off road course and the other half on the defender celebration tour, but I would like to know if the celebration tour incorporates the opertunity of seeing the adventure I've ordered being built!
Is there a difference between :- Factory tour £45 and defender celebration tour £45 And then "half day off road" £225 Or does factory tour and drive £245 do everything? Jason |

Did the Defender tour this AM. Was good to actually see where it's all nailed together. Guide was Rich. Very good. Felt like we spent to long looking at the series production line segment. Apart from that great to see.
Saw a sneak of a 110 heritage(?). Burnt orange colour and the big guard along the fuel tank area on the driver side. Not for me though. Well it seems that the reason ther are no Sawtooths avail in the UK is they were fitted to all the LHD Defenders. Only saw 1 or 2 RHD with them fitted but they wee destined for SA I think. 110 D250 SE HT 110 USW SOLD RRE HSE Dynamic Gone, wife killed it VOLVO XC60 R Dynamic with some toys Polaris RZR 900XP SOLD |

If your thinking of doing the tour, but have not booked yet "DO IT!"
We had a great day today, with a nice lunch. Learnt a lot about the makings of a Defender, well worth the trip 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

I went today with a mate who has ordered a Heritage 90 - what a fantastic afternoon! Richard showed us around and was very informative and a good laugh too. Great tour, an absolute bargain at £45 IMO!

Anyone going on 7th July, as that is the date I have been given for my Heritage 90 SW into production. Still don't get my hands on it until October 20 or so!
