I was a little disappointed with the Heritage to be honest. The Heritage grill is a one piece moulded plastic piece. Not like the normal grill that has the frame and clip on fin assembly.
It felt very flimsy.

Grill looks indeed a bit plasticky odd in this picture. The good thing is that it opens the door for one or more after market suppliers, like Nakatanenga for instance, to develop a more solid looking stainless steel replacement for this grill. The total number of Heritages manufactured probably warrant such an offering. Thumbs Up You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Exactly what I am hoping too . . . metal grill from Nakatanega or similar and put the original away in a box for future resale. Nick

Check out the Indus roof in the Heritage image, it is a good likeness as to how it really is,...a good contrasting roof for keswick.

Was me on the tour yesterday THURS with my other half , both really enjoyed it,can understand why change is needed in production methods as it as very labour intensive. Just have to trust Land Rover to come up with a good replacement .
Great to see the whole story being celebrated with the fabulous series ones and well chosen memorabilia.
Excellent morning out and nice to meet you guys.

Nick.
...........gotcha now. Ian and I think we might have met you before, at Land Rover show ? When we work on Tim @ Mobilecentre stand maybe ? Putting Dreams on Drives at JLR Solihull..

Don't think had the pleasure of meeting before, must have been my doppelgänger .
No doubt our paths will cross again as the Land Rover world is a small one. Will make sure I say hello and may be glad of some expert fettling in the future.
Cheers. Nick

I agree, I've ordered a heritage, I love the car, but wondered why it's got an air con grill with that option not being available. A nice flush grill would be better.

You can't take pictures of the actual production facility itself unfortunately, so the heritage section:
