Gave it a good clean out and checked lights etc ready for it going into the garage tommorow for all the new bits and an mot. Hopefully should go straight through as if it needs it, it gets it regardless of cost. Ray

After an excellent afternoon on the Celebration Tour at Solihull, I headed up the M42/M1 to the Peaks for a nice evening ramble.
Managed to find a fair bit of mud too, it was sparkly clean when I started out. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Craig Rogers 2007 Puma 110 XS 2011 Evoque Coupe Dynamic Lux www.craigrogers.photography |

^^^^ Is that the sort of rubbery stuff?
Finished cleaning mine today, clay barred the roof and fully washed and waxed. You can see the cracked rear arch spat there too which I'm swapping over soon about 2 years later after I got it damaged helping an idiot out of a lane who never paid. Not rubbery its a two part Polyurethane that sets rock hard...What it will be like to clean I don't know but whilst textured its smooth to touch (if that makes sense)

Out of interest Custom90Steve, is there a different type of arch for colour coding? I have the bog-basic, black (Matt-ish) things. However almost all my add-ons have a black gloss or satin finish, so I was thinking of painting the arches to match. Do I need a stiffer arch to paint or are these original, slightly flexy versions the same? Any advice appreciated. Ta Monsieur Le Grenadier

It looks like there would be some serious skin abrasions if you and Mrs AndyRed ever got carried away with some on-bonnet action.... Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Andy - Interesting. I'd say a pressure washer would be best for that to lift dirt out providing it isn't too powerful of course.
Grenadier - I can't see it making much difference to be honest. The LR primed ones are wait for it 120 each approx! And that's just primed no painted! I got this arch from a well known reliable breakers Thornton and as mine is a popular colour I got it same colour to boot all for 50. There won't be any paint shade difference as the 90 it came off of was a few years old anyway so it was a win win for me. You could always see what they have they are on eBay but it's unlikely you'll get a set the colour you want all in A1 condition on a write off. Depends though and worth a look, or ask on here many of us have these things laying around spare. Give it a go. The clips are 1 each and there is about 12x per arch too. |

Thank you. Did think they would be just the same. I have a handful of other bits being painted by a guy locally, so I will add it to the order. As you say, finding a quartet of satin/Santorini black in good nick would be tough enough, and then I'd have to get them to France. But thanks for the advice. Monsieur Le Grenadier
