Cleaned chassis off from winter. (Been far too long without the chance or weather to do it.)
Done every crevice pretty much and about a bucket of mud came out which accumulated over just a few winter months. Really pleased how well the Dinitrol has stood up so far over two years, it only needs a minor touch up here and there and in all honesty that's all. Washed the Ifor too which was another job in desperate need of doing. Next job is my 90 it's self and then the inside too! Then maybe just maybe if the weather holds up I can fit some Dynamat and my SS door sills at last after four months. |

Washed it, .... well, not myself , but afterward I towel dried it, cleaned the windows, vacuumed it, treated all door hinges with ACF50 and the tow sockets and antenna with WD-40. And stuck it on the Ctek for a few hours....
This week probably is going to be the last week for the winterwheels/tires, provided that my new ordered General Grabber TR arrive from Continental Tires Germany to my local tire shop. Click image to enlarge This truck is 6.5 years old, and never has been waxed or so, only car washes and towel dried. Not bad I think, paint is like a mirror. Click image to enlarge And just now this evening I put some tire shine on the winter tires... Click image to enlarge Eric You never actually own a Defender. Adjusted the steering stops after embarrassing myself with a 5 point turn and then still mounted the curb.
Has made a huge difference on the turning circle! |

Vincent, I can only say one thing here....... I sincerely hope that in 12.5 years from now my SVX will still look like yours looks today. I would also say that JJ-HL deserves to be present at the Safenwill Defender farewell party on 4th of July. Eric You never actually own a Defender. Eric, I really hope to be present at Safenwil. I think my work will permit it, but Mrs. VeeTee will start a new job just then and probably can not leave. So I'm thinking of coming alone, a little road trip for just a few days... Did you already receive some more info? Cheers, Vincent
