Do they come with a pair of load spreading plates?

It did, but as its on the Puma the fuel tank stops the plate from going on the rear of the cross member. So it's just bolted straight on to the cross member using the existing threads.

I'm not sure how strong that will be but some of the Land Rover towing options attach in the same way. I'm not planning on towing with it, it's more of a recovery point. I will just need to be careful snatching with it.

Had to hose out the rear seats and foot well of our 4 week old USW after my son projectile vomited a gallon of sick all over the seats and the floor.....Im now thinking not having carpets as an option was fantastic.
I have never used a hose at full power in a vehicle before, Defenders, you've got to love em!
Now all I have to do is try and eradicate the smell of sick!
Cheers,
Leon

I would think a recovery can induce fare more force and stress than towing? Shocked Cheers, Vincent

Suffered the dreaded starter solenoid failure Big Cry managed to clean the contacts and now have intermittent starting, so hope it will last until the repair kit arrives and is fitted

I did the air box mod.
A bit of a PITA to do on a LHD.but the results seem favorable.
I've just got the new larger diameter pipework to fab up tomorow.
