Packed mine up to drive down to Cornwall. I have a chip shop in Mawgan Porth, which is on the seafront, one bay along from Watergate bay, going towards Pastow. Gorgeous location, huge car park, and it would be great to hear from any forum members popping down this way.

Had a productive day today.
Lovely drive to work but was accompanied by this metallic rattling. Not unusual but has been getting slowly worse for the last week so today at work I crawled under it and had a look.  Click image to enlarge Spot the Loose bolt. Whoever designed this part was not a clever man, as there is not enough room around the bolt to fit a ring spanner or a socket onto the offending bolt due to the engine mount, the chassis and the engine in the way. So 13mm (of course) spanner on and quarter turn by quarter turn wound it back in. Solved the rattle happy days

Mine has been in for a service, and a good inspection as it is new to me.......sounds like there is some work to do but get to find out some details tomorrow..... Not looking forward to the bill!

Took off the rear shocks, knew I had an issue.
I then found that the shock piston had sheared at the top near the upper mount. 
So pretty much I had no shock on that side so a good job I didn't continue to drive it. All this thanks to a massive pothole hidden in a wet puddle I didn't see in time. |

Fish & Chips?...Love 'em. When We lived in England (Manchester), I remember that ya could get "Mushy Peas", but in Aus, ya can't, so do you sell "mushy peas"? Pickles. |

Struggled to fit new reverse light switch, as have no reverse lights. Then promptly snapped the top off it. Then threw all the tools about and gave the truck a good kicking.
Not good, will have to check for damage, but when I'm in a better mood. |

You and me both today then mate, sheared shocker so have to put old ones on for a few dos then replace new. All thanks to a massive pothole filled with water. Thanks to the so called council road improvements. |

A pie floater would be pretty close to mushy peas wouldn't it? Well, the green gloop under the pie bit at least!  |

Yes, I know what a Pie Floater is, had a few of them, not that common in Vic, but when I was in school in Toowoomba many years ago, a guy used to come to the school gate at lunchtime selling Pies from a wood fired oven on the back of an old Dodge Ute,...He called himself the Pieologist!!...and they were ripper pies!

as far as I remember there should not be a normal bolt in that hole for the exhaust bracket , should be a allen bolt then you don't need the room round it to do up |
