Thanks guys for the info and funny the extreme website has them fitted wrong, someone has indeed offered me a set of bars so I will keep you informed.
I have been driving thinking its fine! amazing what managing ones expectations can do. I will not be doing extreme off roading so would prefer stable handling especially when braking hard on the motorway, that's an experience! |

Weirdly perhaps then Mine doesn't have any ARBs at all. The brackets aren't there either.
It's a 2014MY 64 reg 90sw specced up to almost county spec, it has the standard steel wheels rather than alloys. |

Looking at at an old MY11 sales brochure County & XS specifcation included:
Boost Alloy Wheel & Continental Conticross Contact AT tyre including locking wheel nuts (front & rear anti-roll bars are included for 90 Station Wagon only) and the separate Protection Pack was: Front mudflaps Under ride protection bar Alloy wheels with locking wheel nuts (not available with 110 3,500kg suspension) Front and rear anti-roll bars (90 derivatives only) or Style Pack: Metallic Paint Alloy wheels with locking wheel nuts Front and rear anti-roll bars (90 derivatives only) Tow Pack (not available with 110 3,500kg suspension) 110 & 130 models all had front & rear anti-roll bars as standard (reading the Load Capabilities page). The Protection Pack was dropped from the MY12 sales brochure. For the MY13 & MY14 sales brochures anti roll bars are included if you spec alloy wheels on a 90. 110 & 130 have them as standard. |

Mine was supposedly a county spec station wagon 90 but was bought new into the RAF I reckon the Mod had a different spec to public ordered cars
Mine have the brackets etc but now bars Also mine probably didn't have alloy wheels which sounds like it would have mad a difference So wierd that they were left of many models as the benefits are considerable even at the loss of some axel articulation |

My poverty spec '11 plate 110 HT has them, and it has very little on it that wasn't standard (apart from a winch).

Are you sure about the orientation? I just fitted a second hand set to my 110 and tried the rear one with the links pointing upwards and it would foul the spring. The front one has the links pointing upwards, as shown in the ever reliable and always accurate Haynes manual |

Are there any factory diagrams ie exploded diagrams showing the parts required.
One kind member has offered me a set and it would be good to know what fittings and linkages are needed |

Yep, that shows the front as being above the axle and the rear as dangling below it. The photo of the Extreme arb was a rear one and was shown with the links pointing downwards, or to put it another way, the correct way

I remember when I ordered my 90 Hard top in March 2011, the dealer advised that if you ordered factory alloys you got arbs, if you went for steel you didn't get any. I was concerned the brackets wouldn't be there hence ordering with alloys and bars... However with hindsight, I cant imagine the chassis and axles would be different, so it's probably dead easy to retrofit. Jonno |
