The small block is for the headlight levelling motor but the bigger brown and pink one is for a battery back up sounder

No that is the other small rubber boot, next to the 3 way block for the headlamp connection.
The rubber boot is on both sides and connects to the levelling motor. The pink block is only on the passenger side and connects to nothing at the moment! |

Could be as stated above. If you can determine how many cables go to it and their colours if it is the levelling motor there will be three cables to pins 1,2 and 3 (4 unused). Pins 2 & 3 will be coloured the same on both, black and orange respectively. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

They don't all come with a bbus from factory so it may not have one. If it does you should be able to see the large black squarish horn either from under the bonnet or through the headlight hole in that corner with a corresponding connector on the back.

If it is indeed the BBUS all four pins are used and all the cables are black in colour going to the connector. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

No - no joy from the bonnet or wheel arch and my hands are too big to reach anything in the headlight aperture!
I guess the connection must be behind the snail horn somewhere. |

you may find you don't have the bbus fitted anyway , as far as I know they don't unless you pay for the alarm upgrade when new

You would have hoped that Land Rover would have at least covered the terminals with a blanking plate if you didn't have the BBUS fitted!
Surely water/crap etc will just fill up in there. I've taped it up for now and will give the stealer a call tomorrow. |
