Went to try new tyres yesterday ... but, with dry tracks everything is soooo easy!
Don't have pics cause I forgot the camera ... did small moovies with phone... This small track I tried, is much more fun in winter .... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u3vmbw_seJY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TEXXnUIm4I0 Regards Joao '10 Land Rover Defender 110 CC '08 BMW F800GS '64 SIIA Forward Control '69 SIIA 109 ZA CKD _____________________________________________ You have the right to remain silent. someone pulled out and hit it
![]() ![]() Although at the time I couldn't see any damage at all, despite having a good look. Got home and inspected a lot closer... Turns out he hit the back wheel, scuffing it ![]() |

I installed some stainless steel mesh behind the front grill to save the radiator/intercooler etc from stones, the Ice defender has very wide gaps in the standard grill. checked it up and down the motorway, temperature is fine and it looks cool too

Hi there!
Last Saturday we go up to 10,700 ft. Our altitude record with the Defender. A nice road with stunning landcapes an a superb view of the Aconcagua Mount (22,800 ft) and as usual a nice barbecue with friends at 9.800 ft. Also working on Sunday in the overhaul of our folding camper. I will post some pictures later. Cheers! MOT'd my Puma 3 weeks early to see what was hanging off/missing... got an "Advisory" for the handbrake efficiency only 1000m from having the handbrake recall done... They just don't do a good job even when VOSA is on their Ass? 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

after all the grief and posts about hard rear suspension on the Puma i am swapping the standard fit HD rear springs for the OEM road springs and [i have been told!] that the standard shock are a bit harsh as well so i am changing then for Tuffbacks. Had a few recommendations on them so fingers crossed. hopefully i will fit the new set-up next weekend and then we'll see if it improves the bone shattering ride - Kent roads are awful! currently fitted are 90 2 seat utility (2550 Kg) Rear - Driver's side RKB101230 Green/yellow/red Rear - Passenger side RKB101240 Green/yellow/white i will be fitting 90 4 seat station wagon (2400 Kg) Rear - Driver's side RKB500290 Red/green/green Rear - Passenger side RKB500280 Red/green/red BM52 |
