I agree. I'd rather buy 2 90's for the price of a 90 Autobiography lol!

France 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 DCPU Corris Grey
Very much like the Heritage LR Badge on the back of the Adventure 110. I wonder if they will make them available for purchase? Be a nice little upgrade. Monsieur Le Grenadier

I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list.....

Switzerland 2009 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SVX Station Wagon Santorini Black
Just received from Autobritt the official JLR to dealer release of the details of the three cekebration editions and the allocation for Switzerland of these three series. For a small country a pretty significant number we are getting.

50 Autobiography out of 180 globally planned to be produced by Land Rover (almost 30% share!)
100 Adventure out of 2277 globally
300 Heritage out of 2654 globally

The Swiss Autobiography are all 90 SW, the other two are a mix of 90/110 SW, no HT here. Prices not fully defined yet by LR Switzerland, just indicative so far.

Australia
Those are high allocation numbers for a country with a population of 8m . . . when you consider the UK allocation with 64m people and highest Land Rover volumes in the world.

Still, hope your dealer is right because it bodes well for Australia. The car mfrs do odd things some times. For example when BMW brought out the limited edition 1M they only allocated 450 to the UK and they were (and still are) rare as wasp's nuts. In little Australia they allocated 300 and here the 1M is easy to buy and has depreciated 25%.

Bet Land Rover is regretting announcing such low UK allocations now that they have seen the demand! And it seems odd that they would put a firm cap world Celebration numbers . . . why not sell as many as they can? Defender hasn't exactly been a big seller for the past few years so why not take advantage of the "final year nostalgia" and get the line cranking?! Nick

^^ It is not dealer info, but official info to the dealer network by LR Switzerland. Presume pretty reliable. I have the copy of the document, will add it a bit later when I can.

NPV, what have you heard for Aus, and Eric, a copy of that document would be good because obviously the World figures would be relative to Aus as well.
