Thought I would change
Did the airbox mod today & what pain that was.

Any way, while I was in there Shocked I thought I would change my intercooler hose for a silicon one I had. Cool

Good job I did as the lower UJ on the PAS box had been rubbing on the pipe & was nearly through

Any way fitted the new pipe making sure it was not rubbing again

I wont be stuck at the side of the road now

Better check yours Thumbs Up Chris

2008 model so out of warranty and not LRs concern maybe?

Could try and see if the parts dept would sell you the parts to save any potential damage to your new shiney hose?

As far as I understand the "fix" bracket is only on the 2.2's and not the 2.4's.

Ahh yes ... it is only the 2.2 ... should of checked what you had. Just sort of assumed it was a newer 2.2 being the same sort of problem!

Sorry about that!

Are the ancillaries different on the 2.4 such that the bracket would not fit?
