2008 model so out of warranty and not LRs concern maybe?
Could try and see if the parts dept would sell you the parts to save any potential damage to your new shiney hose? |

As far as I understand the "fix" bracket is only on the 2.2's and not the 2.4's.

Ahh yes ... it is only the 2.2 ... should of checked what you had. Just sort of assumed it was a newer 2.2 being the same sort of problem!

Are the ancillaries different on the 2.4 such that the bracket would not fit?
