Look good mate. I like the rear storage cages...
Today I finally fixed the headlight fault after two days .....took the fuse out which looked fine in the holder to find the end had come away from the fuse .....new fuse in and hey presto main beam again... |

Late last night son ordered a spare tyre and wheel from paddocks ( 265 / 75 x 16 insa turbo special track fitted to a black modular wheel) to replace the freestyle and A/T tyre which is on the rear door now and will match the other wheels / tyres that are on the 90 now and should be here tomorrow and as i am off tomorrow i can fit them when they arrive Graham

De Iced the 110 for the first time and saw a gritter lorry Winter is finally here yaay!
Then got a very vivid reminder of why it is so important to de-ice ALL your windows as my neighbor pulled out of his drive into the path of a motorcyclist he didn't see because of the frost. Luckily nobody was hurt, the bike missed the car and biker stayed connected to the bike but my neighbor stopped and had him in for a cup of tea and a fag break to get over it, very red faced On a side note very pleased with my little rebuild session as I have only created one new leak, and 2 rattles! Luckily the rattles are easily cured as they are in the rear windows which will in the not too distant future not exist Running Restoration Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/post323197.html#323197 Self confessed mileage hunter |

Had my 2003 TD5 8 months.
Bought with having only done 46k miles. I've added 12k in 8 months Still makes me smile every time I drive it (which is every day) and more importantly SWMBO still loves it |

What condition is the door in!? May be needing a new one soon...
Looks much better when they all match though so definitely worth doing. |

Swapped out the OEM Wipac Quad headlights for Wipac Crystals (already had upgraded bulbs, 'Nightbreakers' IIRC).
Nice and simple swap and the pleased to find the headlight rings have no sign of corrosion after exchanging under warranty 12 months ago. Much cleaner look and can only be brighter to Devon 4x4 for swift service and good price. Now its getting dark early they are going to get plenty of use... |
