I *think* so, but you may have to subscribe or set it up in some way.
It does on iPhone, and I've seen on my smart that you can definitely pay for traffic etc. Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

Fitted my Dension DAB addon today, with a powered aerial/splitter thingy from DabOnWheels.
Very happy with the results. It plugs into the USB on the Smart and gives each station as a .mp3 file as if you were browsing a USB full of music files, very clever. Only slight annoyance is a 15-20sec buffer at the start of each station when you switch to it. Signal through the standard aerial (now amplified) is very good. I'd say nearly as good as our Range Rover but not done much testing yet. Perfect reception on a short journey I made before. There seem to be a few different powered DAB splitters that allow you to use your existing aerial.
Found this thread that might help; http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic31762.html I used one from Autoleads, bought from Amazon. From memory it cost about Ł30. The reception is great for DAB, better than a factory fitted unit I had in my Ford Galaxy. |

yep, you got it.
This is the product that DAB on Wheels recommended- http://www.dabonwheels.co.uk/High_performa...ctive.html but its available on eBay for less than a 1/3 of the price, the exact same! Not sure what happened but id still recommend DAB on Wheels, theyre good for advice and some of their other products are better priced. I bought this exact item, arrived very quickly and works like a dream... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kinetic-DAA-7001...19e9b28ba2 Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

yes there is!
the double din facia doesn't come with the clock/vents bit so you have to cut that bit off the old facia. You then need to glue it to the new facia but I've never got round to glueing it in place to be honest! i think id left it sticking out a bit when i took the picture too, its better now. Thanks, will think it over again I guess.
Maybe I should just upgrade to a single din and skip the reverse camera / screen part... |

has anyone else tried fixing this volume control to Parrot
You can buy the control here http://store.fusioncontrolcentre.com/index...duct_id=61 I am thinking it will fit neatly in the circular space in the extended fascia.. @Davidwhittaker Any wiring adapters that I should buy to connect Parrot if I am replacing the stock Defender Audio? |

I bought one a while ago and it just plain didn't work. Don't know if I was doing something wrong or if it was broken, but I gave up anyway. Didn't find anywhere useful to put it and I got used to not having a knob, it's fine for me. Cheers, David

Hi Arsath,
Yes fitted and works great, here are some pics that i took during the install. Used small screws to secure a square teflon piece from the front under the nob, and 4 small screws again to secure the controller to the teflon. I don't have a dipper switch on my car, thats why i used that empty space Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |
