Today I pop down to see the guys at Devon 4x4 and picked up a Mudstuff PDH and fitted. Really happy and works well for me and no more burning of my leg on the hand brake

Got wet. Roof is now leaking, apparently - 14 years isn't bad going I suppose.

Anyone got a 90 CSW roof Whistle  1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Going to PC world later with a mate to buy a new chest freezer and a small fridge as his old fridge / freezer has packed up and wants to have two seperates instead but will probably need to do two trips Smile Graham

yesterday afternoon popped to Guy Salmon having been told the clutch was finished, new clutch plate, flywheel, pressure plate, slave cylinder/bearing, also new front drive flanges and half shafts,(don't know if this includes CVs didn't see any of the bits so cant post photos. It drove loads better and the play in the transmission has all but gone, the noise from the clutch area has also gone. its a different car just hoping this clutch lasts more than 13k. cant add anything more as I didn't see the parts or know why it needed any of the bits other than the plate. DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy

Checked engine oil, topped up coolant, checked PAS, screen wash, brake and clutch fluid.
Changed air filter, and fuel filter.
Started making a bracket mounted off the mudstuff dash to take my Samsung Galaxy Tab in its Brodit mount.

Replaced the power feeds for the split charge with spare cables I had from the winch - I think the wire should be thick enough and replaced the battery connector with bolt clamp ones with a stud attachment for the cable. 1999 Defender TD5 110

2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 HCPU Stornoway Grey
Finally found the cause of the rattle that has been bothering me for the past 4 - 5 months.

Thought it was behind the dashboard, wife said it was my door, checked everything I could, even asked garage to look into it while they had the car sitting around waiting for spare part.

Today I checked again and turned out to be the triangular wheel chock (plastic wing nut holding it in place bit worn at the bottom) and the jack in the battery box.

A bit of high density foam under the wheel chock and around the jack. Did test ride and now no more clanging and clonking when driving over bad roads. Bliss ...

Amazing how sound travels and appears to come from totally different places.

Went to see AJS 4x4 to swap out my Boosts with 235/85/16 Continentals for Black Modulars with GG AT2's (265/75/16). All secured with Wrington's SS Bolts.

Looks much better and no detriment to the steering lock as the bump stops were already adjusted to accommodate the Boosts with Spacers.

Very pleased with the ride quality and low road roar (its all relative in a Defender anyway), although only done about 50miles so far.

Will put the Boosts and tyres up for sale on here if I decide not to keep them....

Went shooting! Very strange unseasonably warm weather though made it hard work for the springers.

Decided on a Face Lift...
I have not been a fan of the 'Grey' facade presented by my Mamba since I became the new owner in September this year... Embarassed

So, this weekend, decided to do something about it and gave Mamba a much needed Face Lift going from this...

Courtesy of LRS OffRoad... Bow down

And whilst doing the job, fitted the RDX LED Sidelight units purchased from BoltonBits... Thumbs Up

And finally stuck on this most useful, and least costly of the Add-Ons so far fitted... Rolling with laughter

So, what's next... Shocked
